More than four decades after they departed, the former actress paid a sweet tribute to her ex-boyfriend Elvis Persley on Instagram. Thompson posted a throwback photo of the two and captioned it, “Fabulous Flashback Friday.”
Elvis died at the age of 42 in his Memphis mansion, Graceland, on August 16, 1977. According to Town and Country Magazine, the cause of Elvis’ death appears to have been heart failure. There’s also rumored that he died due to severe drug abuse.
Linda Thompson Was Married Twice
Following the death of Persley, Linda found love again with Olympic decathlete Bruce Jenner, now known as Caitlyn Jenner. She met Bruce at a party at the Playboy Mansion in 1979. Eventually, the couple started dating in 1980 and walked down the aisle in 1981. Thompson and Jenner split up after five years of marriage, and after that, they divorced.
Before their separation, Thompson was shocked by her husband with the bombshell confession that he identified as a woman in 1985. However, Linda tried to fix their marriage with a couple of therapy. But later, Jenner walked in Linds’s dress in full makeup, heels, and a wig. As a result, Thompson divorced him in 1986.
