The F1 icon legend died after a long illness. Moss had been battling health problems over a decade. He has a long chest infection that leads his retirement to normal life. Back in 2010, he shattered his legs and ankle in horror fall down a 30 ft lift shaft.

Then in December 2016, Sir Stirling admitted to hospital in Singapore with a serious chest infection. Following that, he spent 134 days in the hospital. Due to his health problem, he announced his retirement from public life in January 2018.
